The impact of the conflict on the youth in the east (2017). The research was conducted at the request of the UNICEF Office. The purpose of the study was to analyze the impact of the conflict in the East of Ukraine on youth in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. The research included the following methods:  desk research of existing statistics and researches on youth in the East of Ukraine; Focus group discussions with adolescents and youth as VPO, as well as representatives of local communities (15-24 years old), their parents and teachers. A total of 21 FGDs were conducted on a controlled territory of Ukraine and 1 FGD on uncontrolled territory with adolescents (15-17 years old) through Skype; 14 in-depth interviews with adolescent from a risk groups; -20 in-depth interviews with young people (18-24 years old) and their parents living in territories not controlled by the Government of Ukraine; -26 in-depth interviews with specialists in the field of youth in research regions and specialists at the national level.

Assessment of mental health disorders in populations in Eastern Ukraine (2019). The goal of the project is collecting quantitative and qualitative data on the prevalence of mental health disoders and issues related to access to health care and medicines among adult populations affected by armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine. Assessment study includes a quantitative survey, indepth interviews and focus group discussions among: persons internally displaced within Ukraine due to the conflict, wemen with children and young people. Indepth interviews were conducted with combat veterans and mental health workers.

There were conducted:
8 indepth interviews with combat veterans
16 indepth interviews with mental health workers
1000 face-to-face interviews in the households with citizens in Donetsk and Luhansk oblast
6 focus-groups (3 in Donetsk oblast 3 in Luhansk oblast with with IDPs, wemen with children and young people).

Supporting Recovery and Sustainable Solutions for Internally Displaced persons and the Conflict-Affected Population in Ukraine” funded by European Union. 9 – 17 waves of the study. (2018-2020).

The project is aimed at studying the needs of people after resettlement and preparing relevant recommendations for the Government. The fieldwork of all stidies included the following four components: survey of households with internally displaced persons (IDPs); survey of key informants (representatives of the local population, NGO communities, local authorities, civil society, educational institutions and health facilities); survey of people crossing the demarcation line; focus groups with NGOs, IDPs and key informants. It was used a representative sample of 2,400 households and 600 key informants at the lowest possible administrative level in 24 oblasts and in Kyiv. There were also more than 1200 interviews in 9 and 10 waves) and 2700 interviews (in 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16,17 waves) with people crossing the delimitation line in both directions at the checkpoints in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, as well as 6 focus groups with representatives of NGOs, key informants and persons who had the status of IDPs, but have returned to NGCA and permanently reside there.
